I was talking to someone recently who told me to guess which television network currently employs him. The hint: they used to play music. A mixture of exhaustion and only vague memories of music videos prevented me from guessing the obvious. MTV is no longer really music television afterall. Not that I even have cable.
I had sort of forgotten that people actually take the time to make music videos anymore. But I’m glad they do and that I don’t have to wait for 120 minutes to come on to see videos I actually like. God, did I just say that? Ugh. Anyway, this is Wolf Parade’s Modern World.
